The 2013 destination Santa Fe is located in north central New Mexico in the United States, in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains (the southernmost section of the Rocky Mountains) at an altitude of 7,000 feet (approx. 2,134 meters). The region has over 300 days of sunshine and boasts over 260 art gallaries and a dozen major museums.
The nearest airports are Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) and Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF).
