The importance of QFD skills is increasingly
recognized by industry leaders who are potential employers for college
graduates. QFD is now widely taught at higher education levels in Japan,
Germany, Turkey, and China.
To encourage students in the U.S. and other countries, the QFD Institute is pleased to
offer the QFD Symposium Scholarship to aspiring undergraduates who wish to attend the
Symposium on QFD
for FREE, to gain an insight on what is QFD, how it is utilized by
companies, and how it may be applicable to his/her current education and future
employment.
Eligibility
You must be currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate
degree program at an accredited university or college. You
must be able to attend the entire session of the Symposium.
How to Apply
Applications will be reviewed and acceptance issued on a
rolling basis until the Student Scholarship seats run out. The number of the
seats is limited; we encourage early application.
Please send the following items as soon as possible:

Application Form;

Proof of your school enrollment
status (for Fall 2010 or Summer 2010) issued by your school; and

Letter of Recommendation from
your school professor or academic advisor.

Acceptance
Acceptance will be emailed to the applicant on a
rolling basis. This email will show "QFD Symposium Scholarship" in the
Subject field and a QFDI staff person's name in the From field.
The recipients of this Scholarship are expected to
arrive at the symposium venue
at least 15 minutes before the start of the Symposium.
Recommended dress
code is business casual (no tank tops, flip flop, or shorts). The
Symposium Transactions,
QFD
Student Resource Pack, lunch, and coffee breaks will be provided.
Travel and hotel arrangements, if needed, should be
made on your own.
