QFD Institute Privacy Policy

Your personal information including e-mail address will be used solely for the purpose of communications between you and the QFD Institute. We do not share, sell, or rent our e-mail list or your information to anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law.

The QFD Institute Newsletter is sent only to a list of subscribers who have voluntarily opted in, their direct personal referrals, and those who have an existing relationship with the QFDI such as attendees of QFDI events and meetings.

The information that we collect at the time of your newsletter opt-in include: your full name, mailing address, email address, company name, job title, and industry. You may also select topics of interest. As an opt-in newsletter, you control your subscription. Subscribers may also send changes to the QFD Institute.

 

Cautions about Spoofed Email:

Our newsletter never accompanies an attachment file.

We do not send email unless you contacted us first. We never send email asking you to 'update' or 'confirm' your contact information, subscription, or membership.

If you receive a suspicious email containing the QFDI name or domain address, or if you are not sure, do not open the suspicious email but delete it.

 

To ensure delivery, we suggest you add the QFD Institute to your email safe list.

The QFD Institute e-Newsletter is powered by Constant Contact, an email broadcast vendor. The SUBJECT field will read: QFD Institute Newsletter, the FROM field: The QFD Institute, both using appropriate caps.  No attachment is sent with this newsletter.

Microsoft Outlook users may need to turn on the ‘image blocker’ in Outlook Express in SP2 in order to view images in this newsletter.

MSN and Hotmail users need to adjust the Custom Filter or Safe List in order to receive this newsletter in your inbox. Otherwise, MSN and Hotmail will put it in Junk Box or automatically delete it.

AOL 9.0 users may need to disable the AOL default in order to receive this newsletter with live hyperlinks and images.

Rediffmail, Road Runners, Prodigy, Yahoo, UOL users may need to change the default setting to avoid automatic filtering or block.

When we detect delivery problems, we may try to email a newsletter URL to the affected subscriber as an alternative. The Subject will read "QFD Institute Newsletter." Again, no attachment will be sent.

E-mail addresses that experienced repeated bounce for a various reasons may be removed from the subscriber list at the QFDI's discretion.
